Fish tawa fry masala and fish curry masala

Ingredients:    

Note: This recipe serves for 4 members

  • Dhaniya powder- 2 cup. Refer this link to make dhaniya at home /coriander powder
  • Red Chilli powder- 3 spoon
  • Garlic  - 2 bulbs i.e 25-30 garlic cloves
  • Coconut - half pulp
  • Coriander leaves - palm size
  • Onions - 2
  • Tamarind - lemon size    






Steps: 

Masala : Cut 2 onions and fry it using 2 spoon of cooking oil until its turns brown. Now add fried onions, few drops of water along with above ingredients in a Mixer/ grinding machine to make it a paste. 

How to prepare Fish tawa fry   

1. Take just 1 cup of grinded masala for tawa fry and you can use another 1 cup of masala for Fish curry.  Add salt to that 1 cup of masala and if you prefer more spicy, add 2 more spoon of red chilli for tawa fry. Apply the masala on each side of 6-8 fish pieces and marinate for 20 minutes. 

3. On Tawa or shallow pan, add 4-5 spoons of cooking oil and keep 2 marinated fish pieces at a time and fry them on both side for about 5 minutes each. Repeat same for other pieces. 

 It's ready to be served now!


How to prepare Fish Curry using same masala

Ingredients:

Onion- half 
Tomato- 1 small size 
Black Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Fish


Steps: 

  • Take a large shallow pan, add 3-5 spoons of cooking oil, 1/4 spoon of black mustard seeds, curry leaves -10, chopped onions -half slice, chopped tomato-1, add 1 cup grinded masala, add 2 litres of water , salt and boil it for 10 minutes. 
  • Now, dip 10-12 fish pieces onto boiling water and close the lid for 5-8 minutes. Fish curry is ready!
